New Bern, NC is a historic 300-year-old waterfront town nestled on the East Carolina coast. It was the first state capital, home of Tryon Palace (governor’s mansion) and the birthplace of Pepsi Cola. The tourism department wanted to turn the town into a thriving destination. Our firm developed a comprehensive brand strategy that dramatically increased tourism and occupancy tax for over a decade.
